Venlaw Farm is situated on the outskirts of the beautiful historic Borders town of Peebles in Scotland.

The bed & breakfast is a modern bungalow which is part of a working hill farm which also keeps beef and Highland Cattle and free range hens, surrounded by numerous unspoilt walks.

For mountain bikers and walkers, there is Glentress Forest which is Scotland's premier mountain biking destination, and in Inverleithen,a 15 minute drive away, cyclists will love the Red Bull Elibank Trail System for its 'real' mountain biking.

A short drive away is the majestic city of Edinburgh, famous for its festivals, and home to its dominant castle, Holyrood Palace, the shopping mecca of Princes Street, and at Leith, The Royal Yacht Britannia.

Also within driving distance are the coastal town of Berwick upon Tweed, the market towns of Kelso and Wooler, with beautiful scenery to enjoy at every turn.

The Borders are famous for its tweeds and cashmere, and these are readily available in the various shops and mills within the region.
