Built in 1995, this working farmhouse home from home has every modern convenience: All the guest rooms have their own private bathrooms, TV's with digital channels, and a selection of hot beverages and snacks. Guests have a choice of five well-appointed and very comfortable rooms, each with its own individual style. All but one of the rooms is on the first floor, with the ground floor room giving easy access for families with small children, and the less mobile. Choose from two double rooms which can also be configured as twins; or two king size bedrooms, again, which can also be configured as twins; plus a cute and cosy single room.
Naturally a mouth-watering breakfast selection is included in your stay, and packed lunches and tasty evening meals are also available. Additional facilities for guests at The Garden House include: A sitting and dining room; washing and ironing facilities; kitchen facilities, with dishes, glasses and utensils; games, books, maps and local information; cots and highchairs; Internet connection, and fax; and Satellite TV channels, a VCR, and a telephone. Well-behaved dogs are welcomed, by prior agreement, on condition that they are able to be sociable with the house pets, Holly the Spaniel, and Monty the Golden Retriever.
This is a beautiful location: The farm has hundreds of acres, livestock to visit, and even its own loch! Take a gentle stroll around the loch in the evening, and enjoy the true peace and calm of this fabulous region; and if you crave the bright lights of the city, they're only a short drive away.
